A single-car crash in the 9000 block of Dog Leg Road in Vandalia on Tuesday just after 4 p.m. left one person dead and another hospitalized, according to Vandalia police. Initial reports indicated one person was ejected and another was trapped in the crash. The Vandalia Division of Fire closed the roadway for several hours.
