Rotting corpse found in chimney of Queens public school in…
An exterminator investigating a foul odor at PS/IS 113, the Anthony Pranzo School, in Glendale, Queens, discovered a rotting human corpse stuffed in the chimney just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday. School had ended for the summer on Friday and no students or staff were inside the building on 87th Street when the remains were found, though contractors had been working on the building over the previous days. The NYPD Emergency Services Unit and City Medical Examiner workers were called in to remove the body and determine how the person died, and the Department of Education said it was providing supports for the school community while the NYPD investigates.
