Child killed after falling off bicycle into path of dump tr…

A child was killed Tuesday after falling off her bicycle and into the path of a dump truck just before 2 p.m. in Ellicott City, Maryland. Howard County Police say the crash happened in the 2000 block of Daniels Road. The girl was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck remained at the scene and was not injured. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
