Car Crash Los Alamos California in Los Alamos, California: A wrong-way driver was killed and 14 Chumash Casino Resort employees suffered minor injuries in a fiery head-on collision on southbound Highway 101 north of Los Alamos on June 26. The car was traveling north in the southbound lanes when it struck the employee bus around 3:15 a.m. south of Palmer Road. The bus driver and passengers evacuated before flames spread, and the 14 injured employees were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash but has not disclosed the identity of the wrong-way driver.
