Detectives shut down westbound lanes of State Road 84 while they collected evidence and investigated the scene. The incident marked the second deadly train-related incident in the area in about 12 hours, following another woman being struck and killed by a train near Southwest Second Avenue and Second Street around 9:20 p.m. Thursday.
