Two suspects charged with felony murder in fatal Cobb Count…

Shooting Cobb Georgia in Cobb, Georgia: Giovani Scruggs, 19, was shot while driving and crashed into an apartment complex at Stratford Ridge Apartments in Cobb County on June 30, 2026, and later died from his injuries. Police found him in his vehicle with a single gunshot wound to the head. Mareece D. Adams, 18, and Markeise K. Adams, 19, were arrested and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault by the Cobb County Major Crimes Unit and are being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
