Shooting Cobb Georgia in Cobb, Georgia: Two 18-year-old Marietta teenagers were arrested and charged with felony murder and aggravated assault after a 19-year-old man was shot at the Stratford Ridge Apartments in the 2600 block of Delk Road in Cobb County. Officers responded around 2:34 p.m. on June 30, 2026, and found the victim, identified as 19-year-old Giovani Scruggs, inside a vehicle with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The suspects were booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
