Car Crash Hockley Texas in Hockley, Texas: A 44-year-old Levelland woman and her 14-year-old passenger were killed in a two-vehicle crash about 6:12 p.m. on July 2, 2026, at the intersection of FM 1585 and FM 168 in Hockley County, Texas. The woman was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado west on FM 1585 when a northbound 2019 Ford F-250 hauling a trailer disregarded a stop sign and pulled into the intersection, causing the Silverado to collide with the trailer and roll over. A third passenger in the Silverado, a 22-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to University Medical Center in Lubbock. The driver of the F-250 was not injured.
