Vehicle Fire Tulsa Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma: On July 1, 2026, around 10:20 p.m., Tulsa Police responded to 46th St North and Main in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a report that someone had their hand blown off by fireworks. Officers arrived as Tulsa Fire and paramedics were treating two children, ages 11 and 12, for injuries. The 11-year-old suffered lacerations throughout his upper body, while the 12-year-old's hand was largely destroyed and he had significant trauma to his eyes. Both were rushed to a local hospital, and the 12-year-old was later flown to a hospital in Oklahoma City for further treatment. According to other children present, the 12-year-old was holding a small grenade-like mortar firework for the 11-year-old to light when it exploded.
