Shooting Victorville California in Victorville, California: On June 30, 2026, deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to Brentwood Park regarding a report of a man with a gun inside a white SUV. During a separate assault with a deadly weapon investigation in the 13000 block of Sylvan Oaks Street, deputies learned the victim was inside a vehicle occupied by Labrieall McDonald, Christopher Baker, and two juveniles; the victim was struck in the head with a firearm and choked before exiting the vehicle and contacting law enforcement. The victim was treated at a local hospital. Later, a ShotSpotter notification reported three gunshots near Brentwood Park, where victims reported a male and female occupant of a white GMC Acadia fired multiple gunshots toward their vehicle, with one round striking the front passenger door. Deputies located the suspects' vehicle in the 14000 block of Moon Valley Street, served a search warrant at a residence, recovered a firearm, and arrested McDonald and Baker for child abuse likely to produce great bodily injury.
