Car Crash Martin Texas in Martin, Texas: Three people from Stanton, including two young girls, were pronounced dead on Wednesday evening following a head-on collision in Martin County, Texas. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2026 Ford Explorer traveling eastbound on the N Service Road of IH-20 failed to yield the right-of-way to a westbound 2021 Lincoln Corsair that was entering the Interstate 20 on-ramp, causing a head-on collision. The driver and passenger of the Lincoln were pronounced dead at the scene, and a 16-year-old female passenger was transported to Martin County Hospital where she was also pronounced dead. The driver and two passengers of the Ford were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious or minor injuries. DPS says the incident remains under investigation.
