Car Crash Taylor Michigan in Taylor, Michigan: Taylor police responded to the 11000 block of Elm Street around 4:15 a.m. on Thursday after a report of an unresponsive man lying on the ground next to a vehicle. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene with stab wounds. Detectives identified a former girlfriend of the victim and tracked her vehicle to the area of Telegraph and McNichols roads in Detroit; she fled when detectives attempted contact. The woman's vehicle was later found abandoned in a field in the 15000 block of Salem Street, and she was taken into custody without incident after being found hiding behind a bush with help from Detroit police and the Michigan State Police K-9 Unit. The victim and suspect have not been publicly identified.
