Motorcycle Crash Hancock Maine in Hancock, Maine: A 44-year-old Sullivan man riding a motorcycle died Friday morning in a head-on collision with a pickup truck on Route 1 in Hancock, Maine State Police said. Jim Hoyt was traveling west near Washington Junction when he crossed into the opposite lane and struck the truck around 8:30 a.m. Hoyt was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries. Police said Hoyt was wearing a helmet and the crash remains under investigation.
