Dui Crash Apple Valley California in Apple Valley, California: Lorena Lopez, 33, who was five months pregnant with twins, was killed along with her unborn twins in a two-vehicle crash on Wichita Road in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Saturday, June 27. The driver of a Toyota Camry allegedly ran a stop sign and struck Lopez's Nissan Altima as she was traveling to a family party with her two teenage children. Lopez and her unborn twins died at the scene, while her 15- and 16-year-old children were hospitalized with serious injuries. The 25-year-old Camry driver was initially trapped as his vehicle caught fire and was transported to a local hospital; his condition is unknown. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Major Accident Investigative Team is processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
