Pedestrian struck and killed crossing Highway 41 in Fresno
Car Crash Fresno California in Fresno, California: A 48-year-old Woodlake man was struck and killed while crossing Highway 41 in Fresno on Wednesday evening. The California Highway Patrol responded around 5 p.m. to northbound Highway 41 near Divisadero Street, where they found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. Investigators said the man was walking eastbound across the northbound lanes when he entered the path of a northbound Dodge truck traveling in the middle lane; the driver was unable to avoid hitting him. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation; CHP said alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors.
