Car Crash Calhoun South Carolina in Calhoun, South Carolina: A head-on two-vehicle collision occurred Thursday at 5:10 p.m. on Old Sandy Run Road near Old State Road in Calhoun County, South Carolina. A 2019 Kia traveling north crossed into the opposite lane and struck a 2009 Hyundai traveling south, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to a hospital and later died, while the driver of the Kia was not injured. The collision remains under investigation.
