Shooting Berlin Massachusetts in Berlin, Massachusetts: Edward Pyne, 43, of Salem, New Hampshire, shot and killed Nicholas Ferreira, 35, in a parking lot in Berlin, Massachusetts. Witnesses followed Pyne as he drove onto Interstate 495 before police stopped his truck in Lowell. Investigators believe Pyne killed himself during the standoff with police.
