Motorcyclist dies in Route 1 crash near Washington Junction…

Car Crash Hancock Maine in Hancock, Maine: A 44-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash at around 8:25 a.m. on Route 1 in Hancock near Washington Junction. The motorcyclist, Jim Hoyt of Sullivan, crossed the centerline while westbound and collided with an eastbound pickup truck. Hoyt, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. The pickup truck driver sustained only minor injuries. An investigation is under way.
