Dui Crash Danville Virginia in Danville, Virginia: A 25-year-old Kentucky man was arrested after his reckless driving led to a head-on crash that killed one person in Danville, Virginia, according to police. Officers say Richard Omar Morales, of Sharpsburg, Kentucky, was first reported as a drunk man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a restaurant before leaving in a truck. He allegedly struck the JTI Fountain, then drove west on Memorial Avenue without stopping, before crossing into oncoming lanes and striking a Kia Optima head-on. The driver of the Kia, 23-year-old Brandon Lovelace Martin of Clover, was pronounced dead at the scene; Morales was transported to a hospital and then jailed without bond.
