Car Crash Kentucky Today in Mount Vernon, Kentucky: A horse's leg became trapped under the floor of a trailer while traveling on I-75 on July 2 around 5:30 p.m. The Mt. Vernon and Brodhead Fire Departments responded, and a local veterinarian, Rock Vet, sedated the horse while crews freed its leg. Firefighters used plywood from their collapse trailer to secure the trailer floor, and the horse was transported to Rock Vet for further treatment before being released to the owner. The owner reported the horse was up, walking, eating, and drinking again.
