Hit And Run Greeley Colorado in Greeley, Colorado: On July 1, 2026, around 6:20 p.m., Greeley Police responded to a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of 83rd Avenue and U.S. Highway 34 in west Greeley, Colorado. Witnesses said the driver of a Jeep Cherokee struck another vehicle and fled on foot toward a nearby apartment complex. Officers identified the suspect as 27-year-old Dayquan Fields, who allegedly entered an idling Amazon delivery van and led law enforcement on a multi-agency pursuit through Weld County. Fields was taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked into the Weld County Jail, where he allegedly assaulted a Weld County Sheriff's Office deputy.
