Bicycle Crash Oxnard California in Oxnard, California: On July 2, 2026, at approximately 8:10 p.m., a 30-year-old male Oxnard resident riding an e-Bike eastbound on Oarfish Lane failed to stop at a stop sign at Patterson Road and was struck by a southbound 2020 Nissan Titan driven by Jesus Preciado, 36, of Oxnard. The bicyclist was ejected and suffered major injuries, and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. Preciado remained on scene and cooperated with police; officers determined he had been drinking and was impaired, and he was arrested for driving under the influence.
