Albert Gomez Killed While Crossing Highway 41 in Fresno

Pedestrian Hit Fresno California in Fresno, California: On July 1, 2026, around 5 p.m., 48-year-old Albert Gomez of Woodlake was struck and killed by a northbound Dodge pickup truck while attempting to run east across northbound Highway 41 from the center median near the Divisadero Street exit in Fresno. Gomez died at the scene. The driver of the pickup stopped and cooperated with authorities. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
