Car Crash Links Wisconsin in Links, Wisconsin: An 89-year-old woman died following a two-vehicle head-on crash Thursday afternoon in the Town of Fort Winnebago, Wisconsin. According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 2:39 p.m. to County Highway CM near Links Road after an automated call reported a crash with airbag deployment. A preliminary investigation found that an SUV driven by a 22-year-old Portage woman was left of the center line and struck a passenger car driven by an 89-year-old Dalton man carrying two passengers. The 89-year-old female passenger was flown to UW Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. County Highway CM was closed for over three hours.
