Car Crash Jacksonville Florida in Jacksonville, Florida: A 70-year-old Jacksonville man using a marked crosswalk died on June 30 after being struck by two vehicles on the I-295 ramp from Merrill Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. He was first hit by a Toyota Camry driven by a 62-year-old Jacksonville man, then run over by a Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 47-year-old Jacksonville man who was pulling onto the grass shoulder to help. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
