Woman killed when truck driver fell asleep at Union County…

Car Crash Union North Carolina in Union, North Carolina: A 64-year-old truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel, ran off the right side of the road, and struck a Toyota Camry at the intersection of Pageland Highway and White Store Road in Union County around 8:20 a.m. on July 1. The Camry driver died from her injuries. The truck driver, Charles Allen Davis of Pennsylvania, was cited for misdemeanor death by vehicle and failure to maintain lane control.
