Fall Injury California Today in California: A 31-year-old woman was injured after falling 1,500 feet down Mount Shasta in California. She was hiking with a group of three novice hikers when she fell on Sunday. Weather conditions prevented a helicopter rescue, so three climbing rangers, assisted by the California Highway Patrol, reached her on foot.
