Car Crash Jenkins Kentucky in Jenkins, Kentucky: A West Virginia woman died after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 in Jenkins, Kentucky on Thursday morning just after 7:00 a.m. Kentucky State Police say a truck driven by 18-year-old Elijah Stallard exited his lane of travel due to foggy conditions and collided with a car on the shoulder of the roadway. A passenger in the car, 41-year-old Brenda Evans of Matewan, West Virginia, was taken to Whitesburg ARH where she was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
