Car Crash St Petersburg Florida in St Petersburg, Florida: An unstable explosive device was safely detonated in the backyard of a St. Petersburg home on Thursday afternoon after being discovered inside a garage on 8th Street North following a homeowner's death. The Tampa Bomb Squad determined the device was too unstable to transport and instead buried and detonated it in the backyard. Nearby mobile homes at the dead-end location were evacuated before the detonation. No injuries or damages were reported.
