Car Crash Tampa Florida in Tampa, Florida: Tampa Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:13 a.m. in the 11600 block of N. Florida Ave. A blue 2022 Tesla traveling northbound at a high rate of speed collided with a 2024 Volkswagen that was attempting a left-hand turn into a local dealership, striking the Volkswagen on its passenger side and causing it to overturn. The driver and sole occupant of the Volkswagen, a white male in his mid-30s, suffered critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Tesla, a Hispanic male in his early-20s, was transported to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition. The investigation remains active and no charges have been announced.
