Two-vehicle crash in Gnesen Township sends one to hospital

Car Crash Duluth Minnesota in Duluth, Minnesota: On July 1, 2026, at approximately 5:36 PM, law enforcement and first responders were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Normanna Road and Rice Lake Road in Gnesen Township, St. Louis County, Minnesota. One adult was transported by Mayo Ambulance for presumed non-life-threatening injuries. One of the vehicles struck a power pole near the intersection, causing damage. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
