Vehicle Fire Evergreen Alabama in Evergreen, Alabama: A house fire early on July 1 at a home off Stowers Timberland Road in Evergreen, Alabama, killed James Hensley II, 19, and Mark Mostellar, 21, both of Mobile and University of Alabama students and members of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Two other people, identified as fraternity brothers, escaped the fire and were transported for treatment of their injuries. The cause and origin of the blaze are under investigation by the Conecuh County Coroner's Office, the Evergreen Police Department, and the Alabama State Fire Marshal's Office.
