Car Crash Big Lake Minnesota in Big Lake, Minnesota: Two teenage boys were injured when their electric scooter collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 25 and Pleasant Avenue in Big Lake on July 1, 2026, at 1:18 p.m. The 15-year-old and 14-year-old scooter riders, both from Big Lake, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to CentraCare's Monticello Hospital. The pickup driver, 80-year-old William Stolz of Big Lake, and his passenger were not injured. The Minnesota State Patrol reported the road was dry and alcohol was not suspected as a factor.
