Car Crash Lancaster South Carolina in Lancaster, South Carolina: A Beechcraft BE55 departed from a Mississippi airport and was headed to Stanly County Airport when it crashed around 1 a.m. in a wooded area behind Zero Waste Recycling off East Brooklyn Avenue near Lancaster, South Carolina. The plane went through trees before coming to rest and catching fire. Two men believed to be pilots were found near the wreckage responsive with serious burns and were airlifted for additional treatment. The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is securing the crash site and assisting federal investigators.
