Vehicle Fire Essex Vermont in Essex, Vermont: Two men were seriously injured on Thursday in Essex, Vermont, when a boat they were working on inside a garage caught fire on Corporate Drive. The men rolled the boat out of the garage to prevent damage to the building but were injured in the process. Both suffered serious burns and were transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center. The boat was completely destroyed, and the cause of the fire was not yet known.
