Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle just before 11 a.m. and located 22-year-old Erin Lewis and 24-year-old Malachi Dobbins unresponsive inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, and the North Canton Fire Department detected carbon monoxide levels exceeding safe limits inside the vehicle. The Stark County Coroner's Office ruled Dobbins' death as carbon monoxide poisoning, with Lewis's cause pending further testing, and police said the deaths are not considered criminal.
