Firefighters were dispatched at 3:22 a.m. on June 30 to a two-story complex near Oracle Road and Blacklidge Drive and reached the scene eight minutes later. Crews had to scale a 15-foot rock wall and cut through a metal fence to access the burning unit, evacuated second-floor residents, and brought the fire under control at 3:43 a.m. Three residents were displaced, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
