Police Pursuit Crash Washington District Of Columbia in Washington, District of Columbia: On June 27, 2026, at about 12:30 a.m. in the 700 block of 6th Street NW in Washington DC's Chinatown neighborhood, a group of suspects fired a firework toward three victims. As the victims tried to leave, the group followed them, and one suspect brandished a firearm while others searched the victims' belongings. Two suspects stole property from two of the victims, and the group fled with additional items. No one was injured. The Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance images and is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to arrests.
