Thiells rescue truck collides with Jeep on Route 9W, crashe…

Car Crash West Haverstraw New York in West Haverstraw, New York: A Thiells Fire Department underwater search and rescue truck collided with a white Jeep at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Route 9W in West Haverstraw shortly after midnight. The crash sent the rescue truck down a hill and into an occupied single-family home on Railroad Avenue. One adult from the home, four to five first responders in the rescue truck, and the Jeep's driver were transported to hospitals; all are expected to recover. Police issued the 17-year-old Jeep driver a ticket for operating a vehicle after dark with a junior license.
