Car Crash Sandpoint Idaho State Idaho in Sandpoint Idaho State, Idaho: Ten children returning from a summer program field trip and two adults were hospitalized after a crash on US Highway 95 in Elmira, Idaho, just north of Sandpoint. Idaho State Police troopers and Bonner County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the crash just after 2 p.m. A dozen people were injured and transported to the hospital, with several taken by ambulance and one transported by helicopter. The incident is under investigation.
