Assault Taylor Michigan in Taylor, Michigan: A 25-year-old man from Taylor was found dead with stab wounds in the 11000 block of Elm Street in Taylor early morning Thursday, July 2, 2026, after a 4:16 a.m. 911 call. Taylor Police investigated the death as a homicide and identified a former girlfriend of the victim as a suspect. Detectives located her vehicle in Detroit, where she fled before abandoning it in a field in the 15000 block of Salem; she was later found hiding behind a bush at a nearby house and taken into custody without incident with help from Detroit Police and Michigan State Police K-9.
