Taunton woman killed in single-vehicle crash on King Philip…

Car Crash Raynham Massachusetts in Raynham, Massachusetts: A 54-year-old Taunton woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Raynham on the evening of July 1. Raynham and Taunton police were dispatched to the area of King Philip Street and Gardiner Street at about 8 p.m. and found a single vehicle with obvious damage that had gone down a steep slope into the woods. The driver and sole occupant, Maura Whittemore, suffered significant injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation by Raynham Police, Taunton Police, and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
