Car Crash Kent Michigan in Kent, Michigan: A 23-year-old man driving an SUV eastbound on Interstate 196 crossed the median into westbound lanes near Lake Michigan Drive around 8 p.m. Wednesday and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on. One passenger died at the scene. Two other passengers and a 47-year-old woman in the front seat were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The 49-year-old male driver of the SUV was not hurt. Michigan State Police are investigating why the SUV crossed the median.
