Car Crash Kansas City Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas: Seven juveniles were injured in a crash at the end of a police pursuit on Wednesday in Kansas City, Kansas. Just before 4 p.m., Kansas Highway Patrol troopers pursued a 2007 Honda Pilot SUV; the driver ran a red light at 18th Street and Minnesota Avenue and struck another 2007 Honda Pilot SUV, pushing it into a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The fleeing SUV carried five people, including a 27-year-old Kansas City, Missouri man driving and passengers ages 21, 22, and 6 months who were hospitalized with minor injuries. The struck Honda Pilot carried seven people — a 17-year-old driver, a 19-year-old passenger, and five children ages 15, 12, 10, 9, and 8 — all taken to a nearby hospital. The 18-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was not injured. Troopers have not yet said why the pursuit was initiated.
