Car Crash Salem Oregon in Salem, Oregon: A 53-year-old Salem man was arrested for reckless driving after police say he was driving at high speeds before a four-car crash on the Center Street Bridge in Salem, Oregon. Officers responded to the crash at around 10:18 a.m. on Thursday, and debris reportedly spanned several hundred feet. Witnesses reported that the driver, identified as Thomas Ewing, was driving recklessly at speeds around 80 mph leading up to the crash, and the impact caused his car to slide along the top of the bridge railing before returning to the road. Ewing was cited for driving with a suspended license and booked into the Polk County Jail on charges of reckless driving and reckless endangering.
