Car Crash West Haverstraw New York in West Haverstraw, New York: An emergency rescue truck operated by the Thiells Fire Department crashed into an occupied home shortly after midnight while responding to a reported boating accident near the Hudson River in West Haverstraw. The underwater search and rescue truck slammed into the first floor of the home, causing extensive damage to the two-story building. The Rockland County Fire Collapse Team was called in to help rescue residents and stabilize the structure. Several people were taken to Nyack Hospital and Westchester Medical Center.
