Car Crash Collision Florida Fish Florida in collision Florida Fish, Florida: Two Putnam County Sheriff's Office vessels collided during a training exercise on June 5 in the St. Johns River near Interlachen. Deputy John Riley attempted to cross the marked vessel over the wake of another boat, overcorrected the steering, and was ejected from the boat. He was not wearing a vessel kill switch. Three other deputies were injured in the collision. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officials issued a violation to Deputy Riley for unsafe speeds.
