Car Crash Angel Fire New Mexico in Angel Fire, New Mexico: A pilot operating a private Cessna airplane sustained minor injuries after strong winds pushed the aircraft off the runway during landing at Angel Fire Airport on Saturday morning, June 27. The landing gear caught in the ground beside the runway, causing the aircraft to flip forward and come to rest over a fence about 1,000 feet north of the runway's center point. The pilot, the sole occupant, self-extracted before help arrived and was transported to Holy Cross Medical Center in Taos. New Mexico State Police, the NTSB, and the FAA are investigating the crash.
