Car Crash Riverhead New York in Riverhead, New York: A pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday night when he was struck by a 2021 Ford Ranger while attempting to cross County Road 58 on foot in Riverhead. Police responding at about 10:03 p.m. found the man lying in the roadway with an apparent head wound. Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance transported him to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver, James D'Aguanno, 70, of Seaford, was not charged, and police are seeking witnesses.
