Pedestrian Hit West Rutland Vermont in West Rutland, Vermont: Vermont State Police are asking for the public's help identifying a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Main Street in West Rutland. Troopers were notified just before 5:30 a.m. on Friday and found the body of a man in the grass off the north side of Main Street. The victim was identified as Devin Pierro, 30, of West Rutland, who was walking west on Main Street near Whipple Hollow Road when he was struck by a passing vehicle whose driver did not stop. Police say the vehicle likely has damage to the front or passenger side.
